Entry requirements

A Higher Education degree in Engineering or a science discipline relevant to the program’s subject is a prerequisite. Additionally, certification of good knowledge of the English language is required. Scientific and professional experience is also welcome.

 

 Important notice:According to the new law for Greek higher education (Law 4485/2017 Article 34 (7)) international students that will be selected for our program are obliged to certify their undergraduate diplomas in the Hellenic National Academic Recognition Information Center (Hellenic NARIC) in order to graduate from our course.

Application documents

The applicants need to submit the following documents in our online platform (applications commencement date 01/02/2019):

 

  • Detailed CV indicating scientific or industrial experience e.t.c.
  • Copies of the degrees and relevant documents (in Greek or English) 

  • Academic transcript showing the grades for each course taken (in Greek or English)   

  • Proof of competence and fluency in the English language (Lower level or higher)

  • ID (EU citizens) or Passport (Non-EU citizens)

  • A photo

  • Cover letter

For a valid application 

  • Two reference letters must be submitted directly from the referees email address to: info@peteng-master.tuc.gr within the application period (It doesn't matter if the reference letters or the application will arrive first)

Petroleum Engineering postgraduate program of the Technical University of Crete is a one-year, full-time program, designed to provide students with a scientific background in hydrocarbon exploration and skills in the practical aspects of petroleum engineering. The program begins in October, and leads to a Master of Science (MSc) degree. The program is run by the School of Mineral Resources Engineering.
